Seoul, Korea, September 13, 2024 — Global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) will be the exclusive supplier of racing tires for the final event of the 2024 24H Series, the world’s most prestigious endurance race series. The event, Hankook 24H BARCELONA, will take place in Spain over three days, from September 13 to 15.

The 2024 24H Series season kicked off in January with the Hankook 6H Abu Dhabi race in the United Arab Emirates, and continued in Italy, Belgium, and Portugal. The series will culminate with the final round in Barcelona, Spain, bringing the season to a close.

Since 2015, Hankook Tire has been the official title sponsor of the 24H Series, exclusively supplying high-performance racing tires optimized for endurance races. This partnership has highlighted Hankook's top-tier technology and strengthened its premium brand image. All participating vehicles are equipped with Hankook’s Ventus racing tires, and every race has been officially titled 24H Series Powered by Hankook.

This year's event, which will be held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, marks the 25th edition of the 24-hour endurance race and is receiving more attention than usual. A total of 34 teams and 39 drivers have registered to participate, generating considerable excitement.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where the race will take place, is a 4.657 km track featuring 14 corners and can accommodate up to 140,700 spectators. Known for its long straights and varied corners, the circuit offers a thrilling experience for motorsport enthusiasts, including high-speed driving and overtaking opportunities.

This year, Hankook Tire has showcased its high-performance racing tires in the 24H Series with premium supercars such as the Porsche 991, Lamborghini Huracán, BMW M4 GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Audi R8, and McLaren 720S GT3 Evo. The tires have significantly enhanced the driving performance of these supercars, earning commendations from event officials for their contribution to the extreme racing conditions.

The newly introduced fourth-generation Ventus F200 for the 2024 season has been the official tire of the event, providing exceptional performance under extreme driving conditions. It features an advanced racing-specific compound that enhances performance compared to the third-generation model, while also achieving approximately 10% weight reduction.

Meanwhile, Hankook Tire continues to lead the development of global motorsports by supplying racing tires for top-tier events such as the 24H Series, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
