Hankook Tyre UK announces sponsorship of the 2021 Devon Truck Show and Cornwall Truck Gathering

- Announced as main sponsor of two truck festivals which showcase the very best of commercial vehi-cles in the UK
- To showcase its commercial tire portfolio to drivers and fleet owners as well as support raising funds for local children’s charities

Daventry, UK, April 15, 2021 – Global leading tire company Hankook Tyre UK is announced as official partner at this year’s Devon Truck Show and Cornwall Truck Gathering, two significant UK trucking events. The shows, which focus on commercial transport solutions, shall be an excellent opportunity for the tire maker to exhibit some of its truck tire portfolio and liaise with new and existing fleet operatives and owners.

At each event Hankook shall exhibit some of its most popular truck tires. These will include the SmartFlex AH31 (steer) and SmartFlex DH31 (drive), all season tires which are both designed to provide high mileage and excellent handling performance on variable road conditions. There will also be two tires from Hankook’s retread ‘Alphatread’ range, the R-DH05 for drive, and R-TH22 for trailer. This range offers fleet operators and owners with a cost effective and environmentally friendly option for their vehicles.

Alongside the truck tires, Hankook’s newest all-season van tire, the Vantra ST AS 2 will be showcased, which offers van drivers with a durable, multi-performance tire all year round. To further support the shows’ chosen charities, namely Devon Children’s Hospice and Devon and Cornwall Air Ambulance Hankook is running a competition for a lucky visitor to win a set of tires for their car.

As well as main event sponsor, Hankook shall be category sponsor of ‘Best in Show Truck’ and ‘Best in Show Light Commercial’. Open to any drivers showcasing their vehicle at the events, these awards recognize those owners and operatives who go above and beyond to meet road and industry standards, including vehicle and tire maintenance and safety.

The Devon Truck Show will take place on June 26-27 at Smeatharpe Stadium, and the Cornwall Truck Gathering, will take place on July 10-11 at the Royal Cornwall Showground.
